There is a Zippo design that will make a perfect gift
for just about anyone: Weddings, Christmas, Valentines Day, Father's Day, Mother's Day,
Graduation, Birthdays, Anniversaries, or any special occasion. We engrave through the top layer into the brass base metal. This makes the engravings permanent & appear gold in color giving a nice contrast. With brushed chrome, satin chrome, and street chrome finishes, we will generally oxidize the brass engraving to turn it black against the chrome. This is not "color fill"and does not wear off. We do not use "color
fill" to put different colors into the engravings. Color fill is enamel paint or lacquer which wears off over time..
